As members of Alpha Sigma Tau, we strive to contribute our share to helping all women become the best versions of themselves and are devoted to empowering the lives of women and the communities around us!
Our mission is to “Invest in women by instilling the skills necessary to navigate life, and inspire members to enrich their own lives and the lives of others” Which we proudly embrace through the Alpha Sigma Tau Foundation.
The life skills, friendships, connections, and experiences that you will receive from Alpha Sigma Tau will not only be with you for life, but add value to it forever.

Our core values are Intellect, Excellence, Graciousness, Respect and Connections, values that we uphold every day with each other and within our communities.
We focus a lot on creating relationships during our time as active members that last long past graduation.
We have an extremely extensive alumni network of women who actively help our girls with anything they need, like searching for jobs, giving recommendations, and serving as support systems during our college experiences.
We care very deeply about hosting fundraisers and sisterhood events each semester to donate to causes surrounding our philanthropy, The Women’s Wellness Initiative.

Women's Wellness Initiative
Our philanthropy is the Women’s Wellness Initiative, and with this we believe that women who achieve and maintain wellness are more likely to reach their fullest potential and empower those around us in our communities. We work with two National Service Partners, Dress for Success and Girls Who Code.

“Alpha Sigma Tau is more than just a social organization — it's a family. It's a group of amazing girls who offer each other unconditional love, support, and encouragement through all the ups and downs. To me, AST means having a group of sisters who are always there to lend a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. Since joining AST, I've been able to grow as a person and truly learn how to be stronger. AST has given me opportunities to step outside of my comfort zone and take on leadership roles, which has helped me build confidence and develop skills that I know will help me well in the future”

We pride ourselves in our close-knit bond that we have with our alumni! Being that we are a sorority with a smaller number of members, we are able to build close relationships, and keep them remaining for years to come. Our alumni are always in contact, eager to come visit us, and always helping us build our futures by offering amazing opportunities to our active members. They have all continued to pursue their passions while encouraging our current members to be their best selves. We are a group of highly ambitious, and supportive girls, which is what makes our sisterhood so special.
